-How to Edit the PowerPoint for the ground and first-floor screens.
-You will be editing the **default.ppsx** file, you cannot directly open the file (it will open in show mode).
-Instead, you need to open the **PowerPoint** then open **default.ppsx** where you can then edit the slides.
-The editable file is located on **pptstore** in a shared folder called com
-From Windows, Microsoft Office Powerpoint 2016.
-The first thing to do is Map the network share
-  - Open Computer -> click Map network drive
-  - Select your desirable Drive Letter
-  - In the Folder type **%%\\pptstore.dcs.shef.ac.uk\com%%**
-  - Optional: Leave or untick Reconnect at logon
-  - Tick Connect using different credentials
-  - Click Finish
-  - Login box appears, login with your DCS account and password. e.g comsciad\dcsaccountname (if its enabled to access this directory)

-Secondly, use PowerPoint
-  - Open Powerpoint 2016
-  - Open Other Presentations (otherwise opening it again, will appear in Recent)

-  - Locate the drive letter you selected to map the share and double click to open it
-  - Select Foyer then Default.ppsx and click Open

-  - Go > Connect to Server

-  - Type in your dcsaccount and password (if it's enabled to access this directory)

-  - Under Shared find and click pptstore
-  - then click foyer then default.ppsx

-Please remember to add a timer of default 12seconds to new slides, Otherwise, the show will stop and not move to the next slide.
-When you have finished editing the slides, just close PowerPoint, and save the file by overwriting it.
-When will the screens use the new slides?
-The machines will use new slides from the next day (8 AM)
-If any problems/issues contact Support, don't contact Support for slide editing, this is done by the Marketing and Communications Team in Computer Science.
