Borrowing Equipment from Support
The equipment listed below may be borrowed by taught students registered for at least one COM module, for use in project work. To do this you must bring your uCard to the Support Office in G11 and sign it out.
Please note that an ... from your tutor may be required for items that are available for off-site use (such as MacBooks, Kinects and Oculus Rifts), as they are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. It is therefore possible that none will be available.
*The Oculus VR Headsets will be unavailable for loan on departmental Open Days.
*iOS and Android devices, and the NAO robots, may only be used within the Computer Science department between the hours of 8:30AM-5:00PM, after this time they must be returned to G11. If an exception is required (i.e the student needs to be able to have access to the device off-site), the student's tutor will need to email Support to request this in advance.
N.B: We do not currently have a booking facility.
