The student web server is stuwww.dcs.shef.ac.uk but you edit your pages by logging into stulogin.dcs.shef.ac.uk. Your pages go in $HOME/public_html. To be visible they need to have permissions rw-r–r– (644) for files, and rwxr-xr-x (755) for directories.
