+The requestor of the VM will be given an administrator account which will grant them sudo (root) access on the host. They should also request that the COM Sysadmins (Mark Ellerby/ac1mde and Chris Stoddart/ac1cps) be given administrator accounts so that they can assist with the setup and ongoing admin of the server.
