We recommend that staff requiring their own virtual server contact ITSwho provide virtual servers on their infrastructure, at no cost as long as the server is going to be used for University of Sheffield business.

If you have been in contact with ITS and found that they cannot provide you with what you require, please contact COM Support with your requirements and we'll advise you whether we might be able to offer some kind of hosting within the department's infrastructure instead.
